What's Pinteresting this Week...

So I've been on Pinterest for about six months give or take, and I've decided that it's of the devil.  There's no earthly way to accomplish all that I want to short of selling my soul to Hobby Lobby in exchange for craft supplies.

I'm trying to pace myself, but there are so many Christmasy crafties that I want to do...

Here are just a few that I've already procured the supplies for....

I've been making bunting like it's nobody's business.  Felt bunting, paper bunting, you name it...I'm becoming slightly obsessed with the bunting.

This is my next bunting project...

Slightly ambitious and probably gaudy? Perhaps, but such is my life.  I always say go big or go home...well, I don't really say that, but it seemed like it fit here.  I think maybe Bob says it on Biggest Loser.  Who knows?

The kids and I are going to make cinnamon applesauce ornaments some time this week, but we are going to make them in the shape of Africa for all our PCM staff and friends.

Definitely my most ambitious attempt...I'm very determined to conquer this No Sew ruffle skirt.  I'm trusting that my crafting skills will serve me well in this endeavor.

This is actually not a Pinterest idea, although it's a knock-off of something I've seen there.  I actually saw this at a local fancy schmancy craft/high end Christmas sale we have here locally.  My daughter's jazz band performed, so I paid my $8 to get in to hear her play.  They all did a great job in spite of a lack of music stands.  :)  Around the stage is my next project: the burlap/off white lace light garland.  Mine doesn't look exactly like this, and let me tell you...this was way more expensive and time consuming to recreate than I had originally assumed.  In fact, I'm still in the process.  I'm only doing one hundred count strand of lights...otherwise I might go crazy.  But it will look FABULOUS on my Jesus Tree.

What's a JESUS tree you ask?  That's for another post.  ;)  As soon as my tree is put together, I'll do a whole post on it.  I'm VERY excited about it.
