On the fifth day of Christmas break...

It was hard to top as fun a day as we had yesterday, but I knew we need to do something.  We decided to get up and out early...for us on Christmas break.  A local theater in town was offering 10am showings of The Polar Express for $1 all this week.  That is my kind of deal.  

Sidenote: This guy kind of scares me a little.

So we gathered up our $1 popcorn bucket and all three of us went to the movies for a total of $4!  Oh, I almost forgot that Caleb bought us a $4 drink to go with our $1 popcorn...from his own money.  Sweet boy!

After the movie, we were too full of popcorn for lunch so we headed home.  Caleb went to his mentor's house for a little Christmas festivities while Grace and I did some last minute Christmas grocery shopping.

We stopped by Salsarita's on the way home to use our Seize the Deal...our total OOP was $1.48...
We love their humongous small burritos.  I can't imagine what a large burrito looks like.

Later that same evening our sweet friends came over bearing gifts and I didn't get a single picture.  Boo on me!  What a great day we had though.  This has been such a fun break already.
